Deer and Turkey Tags Go On Sale

It's that time of year again!! Iowa resident deer and turkey tags go on sale August 15th at 9:00 a.m.

DEER

Residents can purchase one any-deer license for firearm season, one any-deer license for archery season, and one county-specific antlerless-only license. Additional antlerless tags will be available for purchase on September 15th if any are left of the quota. Keokuk County quota is only 350 this year!!

Landowners can purchase one any-deer license good for any season, and up to three antlerless tags.

TURKEY

Residents can purchase a maximum of two fall turkey licenses, including a landowner tag if eligible. Two gun/bow, two archery, and/or one landowner turkey tag (valid until filled) OR any combination of two. Keokuk County is Zone 4, quota is still 1,500.
