Deputy Sheriff
Keokuk County does offer opportunities for lateral transfers. Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office can provide reimbursement of an active hiring contract as the Sheriff deems appropriate. Certified law enforcement officers are eligible for a $5,000 signing bonus. Iowa certified candidates are not required to perform physically agility or written POST testing to be considered.
Applicants that are required to complete the Physical and Written testing will be on August 21, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office. You will be notified of additional information when needed.
