Keokuk County Courthouse Full-time Custodial/Maintenance Vacancy
The Keokuk County Board of Supervisors is taking applications for the full-time Courthouse Custodial/Maintenance position. The individual must be a self-motivator, able to lift 50 lbs. and responsible for maintenance of the Courthouse building, courtyard, Sheriff’s grounds and old county yard grounds, under the supervision and direction of the Keokuk County Auditor and Board of Supervisors. General knowledge of building and grounds maintenance is required along with operating principles and maintenance requirements of Courthouse heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
A list of essential job functions will be discussed during the interview with applicant finalists. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. A pre-employment physical will be required in connection with a conditional offer of employment.
Applications are available in the Keokuk County Auditor’s Office located on the second floor of the Courthouse and HERE. Applications must be submitted to the Auditor’s Office by 4:30 p.m. on April 18, 2025. Interviews of applicant finalists will be held by appointment the week of April 21, 2025 with employment decision soon thereafter.
